Inspired by the Italian saying “Ricordare è vita” (To remember is to live), Il Naso is not merely a sculpture but an invitation to embrace the ephemeral beauty of memory, triggered by the most intangible yet profound of senses: smell.

Scent has a unique ability to transport us through time, reviving emotions and moments with intensity. For me, this connection is deeply personal. After losing a significant portion of my sense of smell due to an accident, I experienced a profound shift when I moved to Italy, where my olfactory senses were restored. From that moment on, every fragrance of Milano became a vivid marker of time and place.

Il Naso is a tribute to this rebirth of sensory experience, a symbolic representation of how scents shape our perception of life itself.
